- I sold my 28.8k sportster, went out & bought the new 33.6k sportster internal
- on my P75 Win95 system. I got the .inf file & installed - everything went
- a-ok.
-
- Except when this sucker loses the connection to either of my PPP providers. It
- just refuses to dial-out. The only way to get it to do so is either
-
- a) use the win95 "phone dialer" and keep trying over and over for it to get a
- dial tone
-
- b) completely power-off the machine. A restart won't cut-it.
-
- I know - I shouldn't have bought the internal - but I didn't have any of these
- problems w/ the previous 28.8k - this 33.6k - same phone lines/equipment etc
- is really testing my patience. I bought the 33.6 when the new roms came w/ it
- - approx 10/95 or so.
-
- BTW - one of the PPP dialins is a 33.6k USR DS that I've never had any problem
- with.
